Our thanks this week to Mike Jones, (now of Basingstoke) who has donated the above Lamp Checks from Penllwyngwent Colliery but also several “Tare Tickets” from the same colliery which will be added to the Ogmore Valley Archive in due course.

Mike also donated several digital images for our archive including the one below with the only known information as “Lewistown 1944″ written on the back….So if anyone has any further information or names please let us know…..
