Can you name the station?
11/10/2009 by admin.
Also loaned to us on Wednesday was the image below of an as yet unknown Railway Station, though favourite amongst those present on Wednesday was Bridgend Station followed by Maesteg as a possible.
The scene looks like late Victorian/early Edwardian and whilst there is a British Government armourial shield fixed to one post, suggesting this is a formal occasion, none of the guests in the carriages have yet been identified.
The Footmen are in very fine outfits and with the presence of many military personnel, this suggest an important event, like an official opening of some description…..We would love to identify the scene, can you help????

Hi All,
A very good meeting on Wednesday, not many there so most of you won`t have seen our latest “Fund Raising”crystals, which are very similar to our Mugs in that a numberof images are available, but a small additional fee we can add any image you give us to scan…..
See the examples below using the Ogmore Hall and Ogmore Railway Station Postcard images…..All Crystals come with their own sturdy protective cases….
