E-Copies….

Now that this years Journal is all but finished, I can now continue converting all our previous Journals to E-Copies and also carry out a clean up of our archive and eliminate any duplicates we`ve naturally built up over the years……

I can also catch up with the large back log of scanning, both personal photos and some outstanding Society images and complete the secondary back-ups to Blu Ray discs……

We also have a possible funding avenue to finally carry out the scanning of the surviving Llandyfodwg Registers, this will be a very interesting project as not only have the registers for St Peters and St Pauls also become available, but we are hoping to purchase the equipament to carry out the scanning ourselves!!!

If this is actually realised then this will make any future book scanning much easier (and cheaper) in future…..We could even provide a service to other Local History Society`s in archiving their material (for a small fee of course)……

Interesting times ahead hopefully and don`t forget, we are still after some more articles for Journal 2010…..You have a full year to get typing:-)
