Journal 2010 Advertising……

Hi to all those locals with a business…..

A very successful part of Journal 2009 was the advertising by several local firms at a very low cost (£100 per A4 page, £50 per A5 etc) which includes the design of the advert if not already designed…..

We have limited space in the 2010 Journal and whilst it is still 9 months away from publishing, we have already secured several advertisers for j2010 and with space limited, if you want to take advantage of reaching 500+ individual readers plus the potential of thousands via the Legal lending Libraries, then book your space early to avoid disappointment….

Space will be allocated on a “First Come” basis…..

Western Valleys Regeneration Fund

See Siân`s message below regards the forthcoming meeting that will have major implications for the future of the Berwyn Centre….

Bridgend CBC are hoping to obtain funding from the Welsh Assembly Government via the Western Valleys Regeneration Fund to secure the future of the Berwyn Centre and for other projects within Bridgend County. At 3pm Tuesday 15th December there will be a meeting at the Berwyn Centre to speak to people from ‘Powell Dobson’  who will be carrying out a feasibility study to clarify the needs of the community with regard to the Berwyn Centre and what services the centre could offer the people of Nantymoel and the Ogmore Valley. As a group of people which regularly use the Centre, you are invited to meet with ‘Powell Dobson’ on Tuesday 15th December to ask any questions you feel are relevant.  As local community members, your input could make all the difference so please come along.

Regards,

Journal 2009 Book Luanch

Hi All,

The 10th annual book launch at Ogmore Vale Primary was a fantastic evening with an excellent turnout - despite the atrocious weather….

The report sent to local press and the BBC is available below, but if we have our usual response from the press this is the only place you`ll see this report outside of the valley:-)
