Lewis Coal Truck

Scale model of a Lewis Merthyr Combined Collieries Limited Coal Truck. This would have been used at the 2nd Rhondda Main Colliery (1909-1924) sunk by Lewis Merthyr in 1909, “Lewistown” is named after William Lewis (Lord Merthyr) the owner of the company.
